I am trying to find information on Joseph Wood born about 1886 probably in Illinois. He married Mamie Edith Saunders 1/15/1920 in Kanawha County. When she died in 1926, he disappeared. He worked as a blacksmith in Charleston. His mother's name was Henrietta and he had a sister named Edith. Willoughby and Sarah Adkins BURDETT, of Kanawha County: I believe that this couple are the parents of my grt grt grandmother, Elizabeth Burdette. Need to find the link. Elizabeth married Jackson Garnes in the 1850's, moved to Jackson County, where she died early at age 34 in 1874, putting her birthdate at around 1840. I know that she was born in Kanawha County. Her death record shows a "W. and F. Burdette" as her parents, but I am wondering if the "F" was really supposed to be an "S". on 6:46 AM 9/7/99

Could you please post the following query: Request information/contact with family members of LOUIS WILLIAMS and wife ALICE (CARRIE)..This family appears in the 1910 and 1920 census of Kanawha County in the Cabin Creek Area. Children are WILLIAM age 16 in 1920, KATIE age 13, BESSIE age 10, LUCIL age 8, GARNETT AGE 6. I am trying to trace the continuing records of BESSIE. She married GEORGE E. FEENEY in 1927 in Scioto Co. OH. A son GEORGE E. FEENEY was born in that same year...Apparently a divorce or separation occurred when the younger GEORGE was young and he has lost complete contact with her whereabouts....on 6:23 AM 9/20/99

I am searching for descendants of these families in Kanawha Co. WVA. Thomas A. Conlin/CONLON =m= Anna C. and lived in Charleston, WVA. Thomas died but Anna Conlin/Conlon continued to live in Charles, WVA. from 1900-1959. She was the oldest member of the Sacred Heart parish in Charleston, WVA. when she died.
