Janie Dukett, 91

Funeral services for Janie Dahmer Dukett were held May 4, 2004, at the graveside in Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery, Orange Park, FL, with the Rev. Pearl Boles officiating. 

Mrs. Dukett was a faithful member of the Orange Park Methodist Church.

She was born April 19, 1913, in Deer Run. 

Mrs. Dukett went home to be with her Lord on May 1, 2004, in Orange Park, FL. 

She was preceded in death in 1980 by her loving husband of 44 years, Marshall Dukett. 

Surviving are two nieces, Susan Warner and Nancy Mallow, both of Franklin and a great-nephew, Jeremy Warner. 

She also was preceded in death by two brothers, William Harold Dahmer and John Raymond Dahmer. 

Lee Roland Keister  

Lee Roland Keister, 72, of Brandywine, died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at his home. 

Mr. Keister was born Feb. 21, 1932, in Brandywine and was the son of the late Marlin I. Keister and Protus M. Eye Keister. 

He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and retired as assistant manager at Golden Acres Poultry.  He was a member of the Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren and the VFW No. 9666 in Sugar Grove. 

His wife, Bernita Cathalyn Shull Keister, preceded him in death April 10, 1993.  

Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Elwood of Harrisonburg, VA, and Brenda Lee Sutherland of Brandywine; two sisters, Patricia A. Hoover of Brandywine and Peggy L. Catron of Weber City, VA; two grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. 

The Rev. Harold Cullers conducted a graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday at Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandywine with military honors by the Pendleton County Veterans Honor Guard. 

Memorial donations may be made to Mountain Hospice, 315 Railroad Ave., Elkins, WV  26241.  

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Basagic Funeral Home, Franklin.
