HAYES Seeking parents or any info about family of Harvey HAYES
(1810-1887) and wife Elizabeth (1815-1887). They lived in Buffalo (Putnam
Co)from 1820s to early 1850s. Children: Ira B. (1836-1929), Warren (1839-1848),
Angeline (1841-1882) - she married Charles W. HELVEY. Found in1830,1840,1850
censuses but no other WV record yet. Thank you.

Looking for information reguarding Thomas Turner born about 1795somewhere
in Va. In 1850 he lived in Hurricane. He may have been abrother to Malinda
Joice and or a son of Mary Turner who lived withMalinda Joice. Thomas
married Nancy Tackett in 1828 in Cabel CountyAlso John Benner and Margaret
Oldaker Benner. They were married in Masoncounty abt 1878 they were in
their late 30s.. They are in Buffalo in the1880 census. One or both of
them had children at the time of theirmarriage. I would like to know who
the 3 little girls born between 1862and 1868 belonged to.. I have the
oldaker book it makes no reference to a John Benner.

1848 and he died in 1902. He was married to Tabitha Ann Martin. I would

Lovejoy - looking for my g.grandfather Lovejoy - first name unknown.
Married Mary Ellen Moses abt 1886. Mary Ellen was b.Mar1870 in Putnam
Co., WV. She died giving birth to my grandmother 25Mar1890 in St. Albans,
Kanawha, WV. My grandmother was Clara May Lovejoy and she had a sister
Florence Lovejoy born in1887. The family story is that G.Grandfather Lovejoy
died of a"broken heart" after the death of Mary Ellen. It is
possiblethat he was from Putnam Co., near Scotts Depot or Lincoln Co.,WV
Mary Ellen's father was James Richard Moses who lived nearScotts Depot.
After the death of Mary Ellen and her husband, the children were raised
by Martha W. Moses Shumate and ViolaJane Moses Dodson, sisters of Mary
Ellen. Have been unable to find records of births or deaths in Kanawha
or Putnam. Cansomeone help? Has some heard this story connected to a Lovejoy.Any
help would be appreciated.
