Donald Nestor

Donald Ray “Toot” Nestor, 72, a resident of the Clover Run Community in Tucker County, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 9, at his home.
He was born Monday, May 3, 1937 at Cool Springs Park in Preston County, a son of the late Glenn Nestor and Josephine Eva Helmick Nestor Phillips. On April 5, 1958 at Oakland, Md., he was married to the former Catherine L. “Kay” Keister, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons Donald Roy Nestor and wife Patsy of Elkins and Jeffery Lane Nestor and wife Wendy of Md.; four daughters Pamela Jo Waugh and husband James of Clover Run, Mary Alice Knotts and husband Craig of Martinsburg, Teresa Diane Surock and husband Eric of Mt. Claire and Nancy Ann Simpson and husband Thomas of Clover Run; ten grandchildren Christopher Waugh, Mindy Winston, Kimberly Knotts, Travis Nestor, Daniel Simpson, Josh Hedrick, Brandon Nestor, Gracie Nestor, Erin Paige Nestor and Kylie Dawn Nestor; one great-grandson Hunter Winston; and two step-grandchildren Krista Collman and Adam Simpson.
He was preceded in death by one son Kelly Ray Nestor, who preceded him in death April 9, 2009; one brother Ronald Glenn Nestor; and one step-brother Phillip Wayne Phillips.
He attended the schools of Tucker County. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force from Nov. 1953 until July 1957.
He was an employee of the former Frazee Lumber Co. He was a former employee of L.C. Coal Co. of Kingwood. He helped build the first smoke stacks at the Mt. Storm Power Plant. He worked for Roscoe Nestor and he was an employee of Buffalo Coal for twenty-five years, retiring during 2004. The family received friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Final rites were conducted at the funeral home parlor on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Eli Hostetler officiated and interment followed at the Nestor Family Cemetery at Clover Run. Lawrence Wilmoth
Lawrence Edward Wilmoth, 77, of Lebanon, Va., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Russell County Medical Center in Lebanon.
He was born on April 7, 1932 in Dartmoor, the son of the late Darl Ford Wilmoth and Iva Pearl (Arbogast) Wilmoth Fitzwater.
In addition to his parents, his step-father Russell Fitzwater also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his loving spouse of fifty-five years Bessie Louise (Carr) Wilmoth; children Terry Edward Wilmoth and spouse Fay Lynn (Fritz) Wilmoth of Greencastle, Pa., Brenda DiAnn (Wilmoth) Baldwin and spouse Lonnie Edwin Baldwin of Richmond Hills, Ga. and David Lynn Wilmoth and spouse Joyce Ann (Helton) Wilmoth of Lebanon, Va.; grandchildren Mark Alan Wilmoth and spouse Jessica, Tammy Renae Wilmoth, Rodney Craig Baldwin and spouse Jessica, Amy Elaine (Baldwin) Dye and spouse Rex, Derrick Lynn Wilmoth and spouse Sunshine, Bradley Wayne Wilmoth and spouse Sarah and Amanda LeAnn (Wilmoth) Musick and spouse Chris; great-grandchildren Connor Baldwin, Devin Dye, DeAnn Dye, Dakota Dye and Katlyn Wilmoth; sister Virginia Pedicone of Derry, Pa.; and nephews Richard Rhorbaugh and Gary Rhorbaugh.
Pallbearers were Mark Wilmoth, Rodney Baldwin, Derrick Wilmoth, Bradley Wilmoth, Rex Dye, Chris Musick and Marty Cogan. Honorary pallbearers were Bryan Miller, Michael Lester, Lonnie Keene, Doug O’Quinn, Dustin O’Quinn, Abe Hurt and Jim Oldecker.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14, at Owens Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Jim Vance, Rev. Lonnie Baldwin, Rev. Paul Markee and Rev. Marty Cogan officiating. Interment followed at Russell Memorial Cemetery in Lebanon, Va.Owens Funeral Service, Lebanon, Va. was in charge of arrangements.
