James Cassell
James Cassell, 90, of Davis, passed away Sept. 10 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md.
He was born June 13, 1917, at Huntington, a son of the late Robert and Laura Salmon Cassell.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Corrall Cassell; a son, Robert (and Maria) Cassell of Greenbackville, Va.; two granddaughters, Linda Crafton and Karen Dixon; four great-grandchildren, Jessica Snap, Bryan Snap, Zachary Dixon and Haley Dixon.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Wallace, Herbert and Junior; and four sisters, Ona, Ethel, Sadie and Georgie.
Mr. Cassell was employed as a glass maker by Chatanooga Glass Co. of Baltimore, Md. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and was Past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council 2010.
Friends were received at Hinkle Funeral Home on Wednesday Sept 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, Sept 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Rosary was at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, Sept. 14, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Father Timothy Grassi as celebrant. Interment followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Daniel Ketterman 
Daniel L. Ketterman Jr., 60, passed away. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army .
He was the husband of Madelyn (nee Geraci) of Montville Twp, Ohio; father of
Jodi Ketterman of Warwick, R.I., Teresa Ketterman of Montville Twp., Ohio,
Rebecca (and Matthew) Wheeler of US Army, Germany, Richard Ketterman of Cleveland,
Ohio, Daniel L. Ketterman III of Willoughby Hills, Ohio, and Jamie Simcox of
Chardon, Ohio; grandfather of four; brother of Kathleen Mallow of Mabie, Janet
Cross of Hambleton, Delores Brinizer of Willoughby, Ohio, Norma Jean Knotts of
Red Creek, Kelly Ketterman of St. Charles, Mo., David (and Charlene Roy) and Melvin
Ketterman, all of Dry Fork.
Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 14, at the Roy Cemetery at
Dry Fork with Rev. Todd Rhodes officiating. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge
of the arrangements.
Eric L. Luzier
Eric Lynn Luzier, 58, of Davis, passed away Sept. 14 at his home. Death was attributed to cancer.
He was born Sept. 23, 1948, at Parsons, a son of the late David Allen and Ella Jean Beckman Luzier who survives.
Also surviving are his ex-wife, Percie Hickman of Orlando, W. Va.; two sons, Christopher Luzier of Charleston and Cortney Luzier of Orlando, W. Va.; and one brother, Craig Luzier of Davis. He was preceded in death by one brother, Rhett, in 1968.
Eric was employed as a truck driver. He was a member of FOE
#936 of Davis, AFL-CIO and was affiliated with Davis United Methodist Church. He
enjoyed deer hunting.
Friends were received at Hinkle Funeral Home on Sunday, Spet. 16 from 2 to 4
p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services were held on Monday, Sept. 17 at
Hinkle Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. with Rev. James Martin officiating.
Interment followed in Davis Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of the
arrangements.
