Loraine L. Abraham, 80, of Adrian, Michigan, died Sept. 29, 2004, at home.
She was born Jan. 10, 1924 in Baltimore, Md., and grew up in St. George, the daughter of the late John Francis and Melvina Chloe (Lipscomb) James. She was married to John Abraham, who survives.
Also surviving are two children Carmen Abraham and David (and Angie) Abraham; eight grandchildren Sonya, Brandon, Kim, John, Samuel, Aaron, Austin and Ashlynne; two great-grandchildren Keeli and Miles.
She was preceded in death by five sisters.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held on Oct. 1 at the Braun Everiss Wagley Funeral Home.
Ronald Glenn Nestor, 69, of Parsons Dec. 7, at this home. He had been in his usual health and death was attributed to a massive heart attack.
He was born April 9, 1935 at Clover Run, a son of the late Glenn Nestor and Josephine Helmick Nestor Phillips.
Survivors include a son Robert Glenn "Tucker" (and Kimb) Nestor of Hambleton; three daughters Barbara Ellen (and Rick) Simmons of Hambleton, Karen Elaine (and Randy) Nestor of Moore and Rhonda Marie (and Michael) Helmick of Parsons; a brother Don (and Kay of clover Run; a step-brother Phil Phillips of parsons; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Jennifer Ann Simmons.
He attended Parsons High School. He worked for the State of West Virginia, Department of Natural Resources, retiring in 1988 after 36 years.
Friends will be received at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Thursday, Dec. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home parlor on Friday, Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. with his grandson-in-law Emery Surguy giving the Eulogy. In honor of Mr. Nestor's request, cremation will follow.
