Border Rangers Chapter 2580, Barboursville, WV

Blake Library of Confederate History at Marshall University in Huntington WV  - The original Border Rangers Company was Company E of the 8th Calvary - This is a battle honors flag given to them after the Battle of White Sulphur Springs in 1863 - Battle of Dry Creek - This means they had other flags before this one

Organized July 20, 1994

The Border Rangers Chapter was named in honor of Co. E, 8th Virginia Cavalry, which was organized with men from Cabell and Mason Counties, (W) VA and led by Captain Albert Gallatin Jenkins in 1861.

Chapter colors: red and white, flower: red rose    Motto:  Think, Love, Pray, Dare, Live

Chapter theme for the 2005-2006 administration:
