Membership
You can determine if you are eligible for membership if you meet the following criteria for consideration:
- You are a woman who is at least 16 years of age and can prove you are a blood descendant, (lineal or collateral), of men and women who served honorably in the Army, Navy or Civil Service of the Confederate States of America OR gave Material Aid to the Cause.
- You can prove that you are a lineal or collateral blood descendant of a current or former member of the UDC.
Admission to the UDC is by invitation through a UDC Chapter. For more membership information and proper referral to a UDC chapter near you, please contact the national office. Include your name, mailing address, and telephone number:
