The Annual Pioneer Family Reunion will be held on Point Mountain at the reunion grounds on the fourth weekend in August. August 25-26th are the dates to remember! This reunion used to bring together thousands of people who descended from the pioneer families of Webster County. We need to renew these family groups and get reacquainted. Come out and meet with us and have an enjoyable weekend of touring the area, tracing your roots, and meeting your relatives! The Saturday program, based in Webster Springs, will include a day of touring and sharing of historical material and sites. The Sunday program will include food for the body, the spirit and the soul and an opportunity to visit with your relatives. Everyone is invited. You will find out how you are related if you talk with enough people. Jeannette Cogar Rhodes of Grants Pass, OR, will be the featured speaker for the Sunday program at the annual Pioneer Family reunion in Webster County, WV. Mrs. Rhodes has been researching pioneer family history for more than 35 years, and is regarded as an expert on many pioneer families including Cogar, Chapman, Gregory, Given, Arthur, Hamrick, etc. Col.
