Anthony Headley first came to Tyler (now Wetzel) county in 1843 and got a land grant for 100 acres. This land laid across the creek from the 100 acres owned by Samuel West. Anthony first married Fannie Nicely and they had a daughter Pleasy born 1835. Pleasy married Andrew Haught in 1853. Pleasy and Andrew are both buried in the Andrew Haught Cemetery in Tyler County.
Elizabeth Wright was first married to Samuel West who held the land across the creek from Anthony Headley. He had gotten this 100 acres of land in a land grant issued in 1827.
After Samuel West died and Fannie Nicely Headley died, Anthony Headley married Elizabeth West. They are laid to rest in this cemetery.
Andrew and Minerva Edwards Haught resided on the land of Samuel West.
