  Wyoming State Archives and Historical Department
The Archives provides services through four work units: Reference, Research and Historical Photos; Records Management; and Micrographics. The Archives also sponsors or participates in workshops, conferences, and various other events pertaining to Wyoming history and the preservation and management of records.

  Wyoming State Historical Society 
The Wyoming State Historical Society began in 1953 and provides direction and support for historical research and preservation in Wyoming.  Made up of members across Wyoming, as well as from outside the borders of Wyoming and the United States, the Society is open to any individual interested in history of Wyoming and the West.  The Wyoming State Historical Society Web site opened in November 2000 and has been an information resource for Wyoming history ever since. The site is experiencing over 15,000 visitors per month.

  Wyoming Tales and Trails 
This site is, as the title implies, devoted almost exclusively to the history of Wyoming as told through photographs.

  Wyoming Vital Statistics Service Program  Vital records include birth, death, stillbirth, marriage and divorce documents.  These records are initially registered with the registrar of the county in which the occurrence took place and then are presented to the state office to be filed.  Birth and death records are on file since July 1909.  Marriage and divorce records are on file since May 1941.  Look to the county in question for earlier dates.  "Family Tree" and other historical requests may be obtained after fifty (50) years from the date of the event.
