Branch Meetings for 2006

Meetings are held at the Art gallery at the Voortrekker Monument, 14:00, except for the morning of 20 August 2005. 13 May Celebration of the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Branch. Lunch, with Dr G Dominy, National Archivist,  as guest speaker.
10 June How to set about preparing Genealogy Research Work for Publication. Speaker: Hendrik Louw.
8 July Exchange of Research Experience: Members tell us of  strokes of fortune, surprises and set-backs experienced in their research. Organiser: Ellen Harmse.
12 August Visit to the LDS Family History Centre, Parktown, Johannesburg. Organiser: Margaret Lodder.

9 September How to design and register a Family Coat of Arms. Speaker: Ronnie Beyl.
Arranging a Family Association and a Family Festival. Speaker:

7 October Question and Answer Workshop on the use of Computers and the Internet in Family Research. Leader: Dr Andrew Kok.
